The Floor Manager, under direction of the General Manager, is responsible for ensuring that service standards, food preparation, production, recipes and standards within restaurant are operating in accordance to the Fish Market’s standards of Uncompromising Quality.
Essential Job Duties:
- Training, coaching, and developing team members to ensure they are providing Uncompromised Quality food and service for the Fish Market’s guests
- Ensuring safety & sanitation
- Conducting inventories to ensure that proper levels are stocked and assessing ordering patterns and changes
- Scheduling staff
- Making hiring and termination recommendations to General Manager
Qualifications:
- Three to five years’ experience full service, high volume, restaurant management experience
- Serve Safe Certification and Responsible Beverage Service number
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to motivate and direct team members and work effectively in management team
- Keen attention to detail
- Proven problem-solving
- Ability to stand and walk around a restaurant to supervise operations for 8-10 hours
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Ability to bend, stoop, and raise arms above head on occasion
