Calle Sol is looking to add an experienced line cook to our team. You will be providing Charlotte with the best Cuban and Peruvian food the city has to offer. If you have high-volume experience in a scratch kitchen and a passion for Latin American cuisine, we would love to meet you! Line Cook Responsibilities Include:

• Prepare amazing creations from scratch following our recipes to produce consistent results
• Multitask with focus and great ability
• Know and comply consistently with standard cooking methods, quality standards, and kitchen practices
• Cook a variety of meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables, and other food items using ovens, grills, fryers, and a variety of other kitchen equipment
• Follow the sanitization standards, make sure your work station stays clean, and follow all of the food handling standards

We Are Looking for A Line Cook Who:

• Has at least two years of experience in kitchen preparation and cooking
• Has experience in Cuban and/or Peruvian cuisine and understands these flavor profiles
• Possesses good communication skills
• Is comfortable standing for 8+ hour shifts
• Can lift up to 50 pounds
• Has the flexibility to work weekends and some holidays
• Has experience in quality food production, presentation, service, and sanitation
• Has an advanced understanding of professional cooking, knife handling skills, and a voracious appetite for knowledge
• Must be available for nights and weekends
