Midwood Smokehouse is currently seeking an hourly key manager to join our prominent restaurant group from Charlotte NC. Must love to smell like good barbecue!
We look for individuals with restaurant hospitality experience seeking growth and are eager about engaging in day-to-day operations. Making high-quality barbecue over a hickory hardwood pit in a full-service restaurant is a challenge very few companies have attained. Hourly Key Manager responsibilities include:
- Perform all opening manager functions (Safe Counts, Floor Plans, Sidework Charts, Shift walkthroughs and entering invoices and writing vendor checks)
- Perform all floor manager functions (Ensuring guest satisfaction, Motivating and driving front of house employees to their highest productivity, Maintaining cleanliness standards before, during, and after a shift, Upholding policies and procedures listed in the employee handbook,Ensure staff training is being adhered to by the trainers, Expedite food from the kitchen while maintaining food quality standards)
- Perform all closing manager functions (Handling server/bar shift reviews, Balancing safe, Mid-Day and End of Day Paperwork, Ensure cleanliness of restaurant at closing, upholding policies and procedures listed in the employee handbook)
- Interview potential employees and give written or oral recommendations to management
- Uphold staff to standards through disciplinary actions
- Communicate any staff concerns and give written or oral suggestions for disciplinary actions including termination
- Communicate any food, guest, or equipment concerns to other management and Chefs
