We are seeking a positive, service-oriented, energetic and self-motivated Night Auditor to join our team. The Night Auditor will work closely with other departments and at time independently to collect, compile, and balance revenue totals from every department, making changes as needed, to be presented in an organized summary report to management while working as the acting Manager on Duty.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent. Some college preferred but not required.
- Experience is preferred but not required.
Job Requirements
- Able to function as a front desk agent especially in terms of check-in and check-out procedures
- Ensure all Front Desk tasks are completed according to the Night Audit Checklist
- Make and confirm reservations when needed
- Promote and support brand initiatives and standards
- Provide and ensure high quality guest relations. Receive and resolve guest complaints in a manner consistent with company policy
- Confer and cooperate with other departments as needed to ensure coordination of activities and guest services
- Coordinate shuttle service
- Adhere to and enforce all safety and emergency procedures and inform upper management of any unsafe conditions
- Monitor occupancy of all guest rooms to insure accurate room postings
- Run end of day process in property management software (PMS)
- Respond to guest needs, special requests and complaints and alert the appropriate department(s) as needed
