We are seeking an individual with strong attention to detail and a passion for leading others. As an Executive Housekeeper, you will play a key role in creating lasting positive memories by ensuring a clean and sanitized hotel. You will be responsible for leading the Housekeeping, House Person, and Laundry teams at the hotel, while maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and overall appearance of the hotel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Train teammates within assigned teams.
- Ensure cleanliness standards for guest rooms, public areas, and banquet rooms are consistently met
- Ensure work schedules and team performance reflect our productivity standards
- Perform or assist with cleaning & laundry duties as necessary
- Coordinate activities with other departments to ensure that services are provided in an efficient and timely manner
- Inspect guest rooms, meeting areas, public areas, and restaurant daily
- Forecast necessary levels of staffing and stock to facilitate effective scheduling and ordering
- Ensure the functions within your assigned departments are handled consistently, accurately and efficiently.
- Evaluate employee performance, and recommend personnel actions such as promotions, transfers, and dismissals
- Confer with staff to resolve performance and personnel problems and to discuss company policies
- Establish and implement operational standards and procedures for the department
- Recommend changes that could improve service and increase operational efficiency
- Maintain required records of work hours, budgets, payrolls, and other information
