Job Summary

The Assistant General Manager’s role at this hotel includes oversight of all aspects of hotel operations. We are looking for a positive, organized, driven, and customer service-oriented individual to join our team! 

Daily Duties

• Oversee daily operations and scheduling of hotel departments including front desk, engineering, and housekeeping
• Provide training, support, guidance, feedback, and resources to the team to ensure success
• Maintain standards to ensure employee and guest satisfaction
• Assist GM and Department Heads in hiring, motivating, evaluating, coaching, and directing staff to ensure adequate guidance and resources to accomplish established goals and objectives
• Contribute to the team effort of the overall hotel by participating in job sharing
• Assume responsibility for the cleanliness of the hotel and safety of guests and employees
• Learn state and enforce federal environmental standards, OSHA regulations, company policies and hotel specific policies and procedures
• Other duties as assigned by management

Requirements & Qualifications

• Positive customer service orientated attitude
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong communication skills
• Strong Microsoft Suite skills
• Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 3 years of hotel experience 
• Must be able to stand for 8 hours. 
• Must be willing to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, and weekends
• Weekend availability, when we are busiest, is generally required in the hospitality industry
