Certified Service Technician

Quality and Safety

  • Obtain and maintain relevant certifications, such as those from FORD MOTOR COMPANY , TOYOTA USA and National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE), to demonstrate technical competence and expertise.

Communication and Documentation

  • Communicate effectively with service advisors, parts department staff, and other technicians to ensure efficient workflow and coordination.
  • Accurately document all completed repairs and maintenance tasks, including parts used, labor hours, and any additional notes or observations.

Tool and Equipment Maintenance

  • Maintain and organize their tools and equipment, ensuring they are in proper working condition and readily available for use.
  • Operate specialized diagnostic and repair equipment, such as computer systems, hydraulic lifts, and alignment machines, following safety guidelines and procedures.

Time Management and Efficiency

  • Complete assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner, prioritizing work based on customer needs and dealership goals.
  • Work closely with service advisors and management to optimize workflow, minimize vehicle downtime, and maximize customer satisfaction.
