We at Bullvinos Brazilian Steakhouse are always keeping an eye out for our next Dishwashers who are dedicated, organized, and enjoy working as part of a team in a fast-paced culinary environment.
As a Dishwasher, you are responsible for cleaning dishes in a food service environment to ensure that the kitchen has a steady supply of clean plates, bowls, silverware, pots, pans and glasses. Their duties include prioritizing loads of different types of crockery and kitchenware, hand-washing dishes, loading the dishwasher and placing dishes to dry.
To be successful as a dishwasher, you should be a committed, communicative team player with excellent time management skills. You should be able to prioritize tasks in a busy setting and adhere to all food safety regulations and procedures.
Work Requirements:
- Must have minimal work experience as a dishwasher
- With working knowledge about food safety procedures and practices, and consistently follow them
- Must carry at least a high school diploma or an equivalent
- Great time management and communication skills
- Knows which tasks to prioritize
- Be at least 16 years of age
- Be willing and able to work a flexible schedule
- Have a valid driver's license and/or reliable transportation
- Facemask, properly worn, are required
Note: Applicants will also be expected to be able to work on their feet for several hours at a time and lift potentially heavy objects when necessary.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Consistently ensure the availability of clean dishes by washing flatware, dishes, pans, and pots.
- Maintain a clean and well-organized working environment
- Maintain and clean kitchen machines and appliances (coffee makers, pans, pots, mixers, stoves).
- Remove used dishes (plates and flatware) from the tables and washing them.
- Abide by food safety procedures and regulations.
- Taking out the trash and rinsing garbage cans
- Assist other staff members with tasks when the need arises
- On some occasions, you will be asked to reset and prepare tables, and assist with unloading delivery trucks.
