Job Summary: The Food Service Training Coordinator will be responsible for providing direction, and oversight to assigned stores within a district, ensuring the achievement of operational and food safety objectives are consistent with company standards. Position reports directly to the Food Service Category Manager
Requirements:
• Strong leadership, communication skills are required.
• Excellent interpersonal, oral, communication skills.
• Demonstrated sound judgment and decision-making abilities.
• Flexible schedule to include 2 mid-shifts per week, and 2 weekends per month
• Clear DMV background and valid driver’s license
Responsibilities:
- Train new employees on the skills and knowledge necessary for their roles, ensuring they are well-prepared for success.
- Evaluate new employees' performance, offering feedback, coaching, and support as needed, while tracking their progress and identifying areas for improvement.
- Foster the continuous development of employees' skills and knowledge by identifying learning opportunities and providing ongoing guidance.
- Attend team meetings and training sessions, contributing expertise and insights to enhance collaboration.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, including those related to food safety, customer service, and employee conduct.
- Assist with various duties to support the overall restaurant operations as needed.
- Maintain strong communication skills, interacting effectively with employees, customers, and management by actively listening, speaking clearly, and presenting information in an understandable manner.
- Ensure training materials are accurate and up-to-date, with careful attention to detail.
- Work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, adapting to changing schedules.
- Conduct food service inspections, addressing any issues with the staff and ensuring compliance.
- Collaborate with the Food Service Category Manager on new items, concerns, and issues.
- Provide inventory assistance in the absence of the Loss Prevention Manager or the Training and Development Manager.
- Learn the process for food service orders and the build-to system, and teach store staff how it works.
