The Onsite Maintenance/Customer Service team member provides exceptionally friendly, timely, and efficient support to address maintenance needs during and after business hours. This role requires living onsite to ensure quick response times- efficiency apartment provided. Providing the highest level of hospitality, the team member performs routine maintenance and emergency repairs and strives for the highest level of safety and functionality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond promptly to customer needs providing friendly and efficient service.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs in the campground, villas, and cabins.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify and address potential maintenance issues.
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety standards and regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs and inspections.
- Assist in the setup and teardown of events or activities as needed.
- Communicate effectively with Off the Trail management and other team members regarding maintenance needs and updates.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Utilize various tools and equipment to perform maintenance tasks.
- Provide support for other departments as needed during emergency situations.
- Participate in training sessions to stay updated on maintenance techniques and safety protocols.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- A friendly, upbeat, outgoing personality is a must!
- Previous experience in basic maintenance, HVAC repair, and electrical work required.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and respond to emergencies promptly.
- Knowledge of maintenance procedures and equipment, including mechanical and electrical systems.
- Willingness to work overnight shifts and live onsite.
- Good communication skills and ability to work well with a team.
- Valid driver's license.
Work Environment:
- This is a hospitality position serving vacationers, specialty groups, and off-road enthusiasts.
- This job requires the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including extreme temperatures.
- Must be comfortable working in high places and confined spaces.
Physical Demands:
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs).
- Regularly required to stand and or walk for extended periods.
- Frequently required to reach and grasp with hands, bend, twist, and climb stairs and ladders.
Pay: 12-15 per hour, & onsite housing provided.
