The Director of Operations is responsible for ensuring that restaurant staff are rightly positioned to serve guests efficiently, safely, and thoughtfully. Whether FOH or BOH, the Director of Operations participates in operations and ensures that problems are identified & solved for the benefit of guests and staff alike. They are in charge of operational set-up and the flow of people and food while on-shift. They oversee operations – ensuring that they not only flow but excel. Furthermore, they are called to lead strategically, to track performance, to anticipate needs, to solve operational challenges, to transition to colleagues well, and to collaborate with other directors to ensure that the business achieves our purpose and vision.

Operations Director Responsibilities:
- Participating operationally in day-to-day activities in high-volume, fast-paced Restaurant
- Offer immediate and respectful response to Guest's needs
- Assist in training of new hires, set the tone for a shift, and act as a role model for our team
- Be a friendly, encouraging team player
- Open and/or close, lead shifts, key holder
- Count drawers and finalize day
- Taking care of the team members on shift
- Ensuring a smooth experience with the guest

- Prior experience as shift lead, crew lead, supervisor, team lead, restaurant manager, restaurant assistant manager is not required but is preferred.
