Hospitality and Dining Room Team Member

Rate of pay$20 - 22 per hour

Position Summary:

Chick-fil-A Outlets at San Clemente, California is seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals to join our team as Hospitality and Dining Room Team Members. As an integral part of our restaurant, Hospitality and Dining Room Team Members will play a vital role in ensuring that every guest has a remarkable dining experience while upholding Chick-fil-A's standards of excellence. This position is a non-exempt hourly position.

 


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

 

Guest Interaction:

  • Greet guests with a warm and friendly demeanor as they enter the restaurant.
  • Provide attentive and personalized service to guests, answering questions and addressing concerns promptly and courteously.
  • Ensure that every guest feels welcome and valued throughout their dining experience.

Dining Room Maintenance:

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining room area, including tables, chairs, floors, and other surfaces.
  • Monitor and restock dining room supplies, including condiments, napkins, and utensils, as needed.
  • Assist with clearing and sanitizing tables to ensure a clean and inviting dining environment for guests.

Beverage Service:

  • Refresh beverages for guests.
  • Monitor beverage stations and refill ice locations as needed to ensure a consistent and high-quality beverage experience for guests.

Positive Attitude:

  • Always maintain a cheerful and upbeat attitude, creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests and team members alike.
  • Demonstrate a genuine love for people and a passion for delivering exceptional hospitality.

Proactive Approach:

  • Anticipate the needs of guests and take proactive steps to exceed their expectations.
  • Take ownership of the dining room area, proactively identifying and addressing any cleanliness or maintenance issues.

Qualifications:

 

1. Previous experience in customer service or food service preferred, but not required.

2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

3. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

4. Willingness to learn and follow Chick-fil-A's standards and procedures.

5. Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

6. Enthusiastic and outgoing personality with a genuine desire to serve others.

7. Exceptional attention to detail and cleanliness.

8. Eligible to work in the United States.

  • Lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

  • Frequently bend or twist at the neck and trunk.
