Title: Restaurant Marketing Director
Reporting Structure: Reports to Owner/Operator, Evan Williamson
Hours per week: 10-20 in marketing administration, 20-30 in restaurant operations
Role Vision:
The Restaurant Marketing Director (RMD) oversees the planning and execution of our restaurant marketing strategy. This person will combine their creativity and strengths with the vision of the Operator, and guidance from Chick-fil-A’s corporate office in growing restaurant sales.
Areas of Ownership and Responsibility:
Planning and Strategy
· Work directly with the Operator and Chick-fil-A on setting annual, quarterly, and monthly goals/strategy for the restaurant
· Manage and track the restaurant marketing budget to align with goals
Spotlight (Customer Relationship Management Platform)
· Manage digital food giveaway campaigns
· Analyze customer patterns and insights
Social Media
· Serve as point person for our social media contractor, helping to create the monthly post calendar to align with business goals and initiatives
· Capture supplemental photos for social media
· Analyze social post performance and adapt future posts accordingly
Community Relationships
· Build relationships with key community members and business leaders
· Create a database of local community contacts
Catering Sales
· Promote our restaurant catering to local businesses, schools, and residential community
· Follow up with previous catering guests to identify opportunities for improvement and earn future business
· Deliver catering orders as needed
In-Restaurant Advertising
· Manage restaurant PoP materials and signage
· Identify in-store opportunities for increasing check average
Events
· Launch community events in our restaurant such as story time, daddy daughter date night, etc.
Restaurant Operations
· Serve in operational roles over peak meal periods at the restaurant, assisting with dining room hospitality, order taking, order fulfillment and preparation
