Shift Manager - Chick-fil-A

As a shift manager, you'll play a crucial role in overseeing daily operations, managing a talented staff, and ensuring Chick-fil-A remains a beloved destination for our guests. Reports to: Director of Operations


Qualifications:

  • Do you have a demonstrated ability to lead, train, retain, and mentor team members for success?
  • Do you have 2+ years proven experience in a leadership role, preferably within the restaurant or hospitality industry?
  • Do you have strong business and financial acumen to manage resources, limit waste, and make informed decisions?
  • Do you have effective problem-solving skills to address operational challenges and ensure smooth restaurant functions?
  • Do you have a deep commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining high standards of guest satisfaction?
  • Do you have excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with guests, team members, and leadership?
  • Do you have a proven track record for leading shifts well in a high volume business?


Expectations:

  • Ability to lead a restaurant shift effectively using the 6-20 Team Members scheduled for that shift.
  • Manage inventory levels to minimize waste and maximize quality
  • Ensure compliance with all Chick-fil-A policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
  • Lead, inspire, and develop a high-performing team, fostering a positive work environment
  • Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations during a shift, including food quality, cleanliness, safety, and service efficiency
  • Follow training programs assigned by Restaurant Director team to equip team members with the skills and knowledge required for success
  • Ensure exceptional guest experiences by addressing concerns, maintaining a welcoming atmosphere, and upholding Chick-fil-A's commitment to hospitality

  • Total starting compensation for this role is $19-21/hour which is estimated to be between $50,000-$55,000/yr. including the hourly rate, overtime, health care benefits, paid time off, and a generous 401(k) match.
