The Front of House (FOH) Team Member (TM) is responsible for ensuring that food and services are delivered to guests in a manner that reflects the purpose and quality requirements of Chick-fil-A, Inc., as well as the mission, vision and values of Chick-fil-A Calallen. The FOH TM is responsible for serving guests in a respectful and caring manner. The FOH TM is accountable for achieving high performance in the following areas: Order Accuracy, Speed of Service, Attentive & Courteous and Cleanliness. The FOH TM ensures that high quality, hot, fresh food is served to guests in a timely manner in a refreshingly clean environment.

Front of House Team Member Responsibilities:
- Adheres to food safety and hygiene guidelines
- Greets guests promptly and in a friendly manner
- Engages and connects with guests by executing Winning Hearts Everyday principles, including Core Four Behaviors and 2nd Mile Service
- Enhances and personalizes the guest order
- Enter orders in the Point of Sale (POS) system
- Confirms guests orders in the POS to ensure order accuracy
- Receives payments in the form of cash, credit and gift cards, and provides correct change
- Issues receipts to guests
- Accurately completes food orders by placing the correct food on trays or in bags and confirms for order accuracy
- Delivers food to guests in a friendly manner
- Ensures curbside services are being properly executed
- Maintains the cleanliness of the front counter, drive-thru workspace, dining room, restrooms, play area and patio, including trash receptacles and floors
- Restocks the front counter and drive-thru workspaces, dining room condiment stations, and restrooms as needed
- Follows the leadership direction provided by the FOH Team Leader(s) and/or Director of Operations
- Answers guest questions and obtains the assistance of Leadership, if needed
- Communicates any guest concerns or special requests to the FOH Team Leader and/or Director of Operations
- Resolves guest concerns in a manner that maintains the honor, dignity and respect of the guest
- Stewards resources effectively to ensure that performance metrics such as target food and labor costs are met
- Assists fellow Team Members when finished with assigned duties to ensure guests receive a caring experience
- Ensures the safety of guests by evaluating the environment for hazardous elements and addressing issues in a timely manner
- Ensures assigned duties are completed by end of shift and ensures restaurant needs are communicated to the next shift
- Completes other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Requirements:

- Be willing and able to work a flexible schedule
- Basic math, reading, writing and computer skills
- Have the ability to lift and carry 25-50 lbs on a regular basis
- Have the ability to stand for long periods of time (6-8 hours)
- Have the ability to complete repetitive tasks with few breaks
Working Conditions:
