DAS Beer Garden is seeking a Line Cook to work with our team in our newly remodeled scratch kitchen. You'll prep and cook gastropub-style dishes in a fun taproom atmosphere full of music, sports, block parties and large events.
We offer excellent pay and benefits not typically provided in the food & beverage industry for this full-time position. You'll work an average of 38-45 hours per week, year-round.
The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience serving as a line cook and be excited about learning and working in a fast-paced environment. Candidates must be in good physical condition and be able to work long hours on their feet and lift 50 lbs.
Pay range is $18-$25 per hour (based on experience) with the following benefits:
Responsibilities:
- Set up and stock stations with necessary supplies
- Prepare food for service
- Teamwork; cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen team
- Clean working stations
- Stock inventory, as needed
- Consistency in food on the line

Skills & Requirements:
● Prior experience as a cook (1+ years).
● Skilled in operating kitchen equipment.
● Skilled in various cooking techniques.
● Understand and follow sanitation procedures.
● Teamwork and communication skills.
● Great organizational skills.
● Ability to multitask and act quickly in our fast-paced environment.
● Ability to work on feet for several hours at a time and lift potentially heavy objects when necessary.
● Available to work daytime and evening shifts.
