The Shift Leader position is an intermediate and growth position within our management team. This position requires leadership to supervise associates with the support of the Restaurant GM and Sr. Director of People & Operations. This position is responsible for focusing on store level operations, personnel performance, controls and monitoring business results. This position sets the tone for the restaurant on a daily basis. The Shift Leader acts as quality control, ensuring customer satisfaction through training employees properly and adhering to company policy.


Responsibilities/Requirements:


Customer Service: Provides the highest level of customer service to the travelling guest, to include ensuring the proper training of all staff.


Teamwork: Maintains effective communication and positive associate relations by ensuring all crew member activities are performed in a timely and thorough manner.


Leadership Skills: Management keeps employees motivated, resolve conflicts and makes hard decisions. Ability to communicate clearly and decisively.


Analyzes and manages financial results of the store to ensure financial results are balanced with customer satisfaction and associate satisfaction.


Ensures on a daily basis that the store is open and staffed appropriately, the store is clean, inventory levels are appropriate, and equipment is working properly.


Can competently place product orders with vendors.


Monitors and maintains all quality control records; to include quality assurance and loss prevention policies and procedures are being adhered to.


Complies with company standards of operation procedures, as well as all applicable regulatory agencies involved, and assures that all products are prepared and presented in accordance with brand or company standards.


Has updated Maricopa County food handler’s manager card.


Desire to grow.


Stamina: ability to stand for extended periods of time and able to lift 30 pounds.


Education - requires a High School diploma or general education development diploma (GED), College degree preferred.


Demonstrates knowledge of all areas in the restaurant; FOH, BOH, and all operations.


Requires the ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence and policy documents, as well as converse comfortably with individuals.


Ability to be organized and handle the pressure of multi-project time/issue management.
