We are seeking a dedicated and experienced server to join our team at a prestigious fine dining French restaurant. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering exceptional customer service, possess a deep understanding of French cuisine and wine, and have the skills to create a memorable dining experience for our guests.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet and welcome guests in a warm and professional manner, providing an excellent first impression of the restaurant.
  • Guide guests through the menu, offering recommendations and descriptions of dishes and beverages, including wine pairings.
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring special requests and dietary restrictions are communicated clearly to the kitchen and bar staff.
  • Serve food and beverages promptly and accurately, following proper serving etiquette and presentation standards.
  • Monitor guest satisfaction throughout the meal, addressing any concerns or special requests promptly and courteously.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation, including table setup, silverware, glassware, and linens.
  • Assist with opening and closing duties, including setting up dining areas, restocking supplies, and cleaning up after service.
  • Work collaboratively with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth and efficient service.
  • Stay informed about menu changes, specials, and promotions to provide accurate information to guests.
  • Uphold high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and safety in accordance with restaurant
  • policies and health regulations.


Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a server in a fine dining restaurant, preferably with knowledge of French cuisine and wine.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with guests and team members.
  • Strong knowledge of food and beverage menus, including wine pairings and cocktail offerings.
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment, maintaining attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor, with a positive and customer-focused attitude.
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Certification in food handling and alcohol service may be required, depending on local regulations.
