General Manager (GM)

Reports to: Director of Operations
About the Role:
As the General Manager at One Olive Group, you are the heartbeat of our operations, directly influencing the success of our fast-casual dining experience. You're not just managing; you're leading by example, with a hands-on approach that inspires your team and delights our customers. You'll be responsible for driving operational excellence, fostering a high-morale team environment, and ensuring our customers leave happier than they came.
Responsibilities:
Leading with Passion and Excellence:
- Host regular team meetings and workshops, both in groups and one-on-one, to enhance operational skills, celebrate achievements, and drive results.
- Foster a culture of collaboration and excellence, sharing best practices and leading by example within the peer group.
- Cultivate a diverse and inclusive team that mirrors our community, embodies the One Olive Group's values, and motivates through visionary leadership.
Managing for Success:
- Set and monitor Sales/KPI targets for each team member, ensuring standards are consistently met through constructive feedback, coaching, and, when necessary, corrective action.
- Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders to streamline accountability and exceed performance targets.
Champion of Culture and Community:
- Promote a customer-centric and employee-first culture, ensuring every team member feels valued and empowered.
- Act as a brand ambassador, both within the restaurant and the wider community, to build lasting relationships and a loyal customer base.
Skills and Experience:
- A minimum of 2 years in a management role within the food, hospitality, or retail industry.
- A track record of improving team performance and achieving sales goals.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of effective coaching and fostering a positive work environment.
- Strong analytical abilities to interpret data and inform decision-making.
- An entrepreneurial mindset, with a proactive and creative approach to problem-solving.
