Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Manager to oversee all installation, repair, and upkeep operations of our company’s facilities. The ideal candidate will ensure that our premises are safe and functional, managing a team of professionals and coordinating with other departments to guarantee timely and effective maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

Responsible for multiple restaurants in a given geographic territory

Develop and implement maintenance policies and procedures.

Plan and oversee all repair and installation activities.

Ensure all maintenance operations are in compliance with health and safety regulations.

Coordinate maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and disruptions.

Manage relationships with contractors and service providers.

Supervise and lead a team of maintenance technicians and custodial staff.

Monitor and manage maintenance budgets, ensuring cost-effective operations.

Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify and resolve issues.

Keep maintenance logs and report on daily activities.

Perform preventative maintenance programs to extend equipment life.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Maintenance Manager or similar role.

Strong knowledge of facilities machines and equipment.

Excellent organizational and leadership skills.

Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.

In-depth understanding of maintenance procedures and systems.

Proficient in Microsoft Office and maintenance management software (e.g., CMMS).

Ability to work well under pressure and handle emergency situations effectively.

Preferred Skills:

Certification in facilities management (e.g., CFM, FMP) or related field.

Experience in restaurant food service industry. Specific knowledge around fryers, flat top griddles, warmers, refrigeration, HVAC, plumbing, tile, and general building repair work.

Knowledge of OSHA and other relevant safety regulations.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
