High volume, American style restaurant and bar in the heart of downtown Menomonee Falls is seeking a full-time kitchen production manager to help manage the kitchen operations, staff and flow of service. We are looking for the right candidate(s) who thrive working in a fast-paced environment, take pride in their work, and enjoy leading others. Candidate will work alongside General Manager and existing Kitchen Managers in order to provide a great working environment, the best overall experience for guests and a healthy work-life balance to all back of house employees.
Schedule
A normal schedule will consist of 4, 10 hour shifts a week. (2 days Mon-Thur, 2 days Fri-Sun). 2:00 PM - 12:00 AM. Holidays/special events may adjust schedule from normal with plenty of notice and communication within management team.
Job Duties (Include, but are not limited to)
- Learning all stations throughout the kitchen
- Being an active and productive member of the kitchen operation on a daily basis to ensure best possible service
- Continually work to improve upon each production and expediting station by working on the stations to identify areas of improvement
- Limited Banquet cooking based on the needs of the banquet department
- Staff training and orientation Identifying needs for cross training with current staff
- Evaluating the best needs for training improvements
- Personnel supervision
- Ensuring protocols set by the General Manager are followed on a daily basis by following the policies and taking corrective action when necessary
- Running Daily Pre-Shift meetings in order to communicate policy or operational changes, daily improvements, or to motivate/improve staff
- Communicating with General Manager regarding staffing needs to best balance great service and appropriate labor costs
- Making appropriate decisions based on labor on a daily basis (calling in additional staff or sending home staff as needed)
- Working with staff daily to ensure proper stocking and closing procedures are completed to satisfaction
- Cleaning Leading staff in thorough cleaning procedures at the end of the shifts
- Assisting General Manager in updating lists of daily, weekly, monthly cleaning tasks and ensuring the completion of said lists
- Continually improving upon organizational layout and cleanliness of the restaurant and food storage areas
- Product Ordering of nightly produce and butcher orders as needed
Compensation
- $20 - $22/hr based on experience and skill level

Experience/Requirements
- 2 to 3 years cooking experience preferred
- 2 to 3 years Personnel supervision a must
- Serv Safe Certification or ability to obtain
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to communicate in Spanish a plus
- Must be able to stand for 10 hours
