Kitchen Team Member - Job Overview

Dog Haus Biergarten Barboursville is always looking to build the best kitchen team around! Our goal is to provide an excellent employee and guest experience. We like to have fun and work hard and take great pride in the quality of food we serve to our communities.

The kitchen team will prep and cook all our delicious burgers, sausages, chicken, and sides, ensuring only the highest quality items are served to our guests. Compensation includes salary plus tips, and there is a great opportunity for advancement for the ideal candidate!

Kitchen Team Member Responsibilities Include:

· Preparing items for ease of use on the cook’s line

· Cutting and cooking vegetables and meats

· Making our sauces, dressings, breading and rubs in house

· Cooking our menu items to order

· Maintaining the highest standard of food safety, cleanliness, and organization at all times

· Restock and organize all supplies & products, including receiving deliveries and washing dishes

· Always stay guest-focused and team-focused

· Support other parts of the restaurant as needed

Requirements:

· Able to work efficiently and quickly in a fast paced, energetic environment

· Previous line cooks or relevant kitchen preferred but not necessary

· Able to learn and follow our recipes, standards, and procedures

· Operate standard kitchen equipment safety and efficiently

· Positive attitude, punctual, responsible, honest, and a team player

· Ability to keep the kitchen organized, stocked and clean
