Objective:
An Assistant Team Leader is the third level of leadership at Chick-fil-A Oxford Valley. An Assistant Team Leader candidate is identified by performing with excellence and consistency, as well as exhibiting “soft” leadership skills. The Assistant Leader position is heavily task oriented (e.g. training, opening & closing assigned stations, positioning team members, executing breaks as per Team Leaders shift plan), but they still function operationally as a leader in a team member position. They are also expected to implement/enforce the Team Leaders game plan & are capable of proficiently running the shift for small amounts of time. They are dedicated to training & developing others. They, also, must have a strong awareness of Chick-fil-A systems, policies and procedures.

Summary of Expectations:
- Train new team members
- Open or close assigned stations as required
- Assist team members during break times
- Execute and support the Team Leader’s shift plan
- Serve as a role model for the team, aligning with the company’s Vision, Mission, and Core Values
- Prioritize food safety and ensure adherence to established procedures
- Provide coaching and constructive feedback to team members based on Pathway training modules
- Address and resolve guest complaints
- Act as a responsible steward of resources and equipment
- Contribute to achieving team business goals set by the Owner/Operator
- Attend regular Assistant Leader meetings
- Conduct team member performance evaluations every six months
- Oversee cash management tasks and responsibilities
- Other duties as assigned
