At Superior Fence and Rail, we install residential and commercial fences. We have a warehouse where we receive truckloads of inventory, and then every day, subcontractors arrive to pick up the material needed to install a specific fence.

We are looking for Fence Installers to install fences in homes throughout metro Detroit. Work hours are from 6:45 am - 5 PM, Monday through Friday. We are looking for both part and full-time team members.

Primary Responsibilities

• Inspect trucks/trailers each morning to ensure that it is loaded safely and correctly per the job order.
• Establish the location for the fence and gather information needed to ensure that there are no electric cables or utility lines in the area.
• Install fence panels, gates, and posts according to Superior Fence & Rail standards
• Measure and lay out fence lines according to fence job order and survey to ensure installed correctly on the customers property.
• Use appropriate equipment in a safe and secure manner
• Assist with warranty and repairs as needed
• Interact with clients and co-workers in a pleasant and professional manner.

Skills and Experience

• Candidate must know how to install fences, including vinyl, wood, chain-link, and aluminum.
• Candidate will be detail oriented
• Ability to interpret, obey and follow applicable safety regulations
• Polished and professional in demeanor and possess a strong work ethic
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to treat others with respect and gain trust and respect from subordinates, supervisors, and customers
• Exceedingly positive in his/her work attitude
