We are seeking experienced restaurant leaders to run kitchen operations in a fast-paced environment with a focus on food safety and quality.


Through the Foundations for Leadership program, you will undergo a tailored development journey designed to immerse you in our industry-leading systems, customer service philosophy, and values-driven leadership model. With hands-on coaching, immersive learning, and guided exercises, you’ll gain firsthand experience in every aspect of Chick-fil-A’s operation, while refining your leadership skills to prepare for success as a manager. Upon completing the program, you’ll be ready to lead with confidence, fully integrated into the Chick-fil-A family.


Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Previous kitchen management experience
  • Hard-working, team-oriented, friendly, honest
  • Growth mindset
  • Deliver hot food in a timely manner that meets or exceeds Chick-fil-A quality requirements
  • Ability to coach team members in behaviors including hustle, attention to detail, and maintaining a safe work environment
  • Experience with inventory management and LEAN production
  • Working towards ServSafe Certification


Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that prep and production procedures are followed
  • Conduct a daily in-process inventory to determine regular prep needs and assign catering prep
  • Assign team members to respective positions and ensure all tasks are completed during the shift
  • Ensure station cleaning tasks and cleaning calendar are followed
  • Maintain cleanliness standards in the kitchen, service yard, and dumpster area
  • Provide coaching, written reviews, and accountability for all members of the kitchen team
  • Coordinate with the Catering Coordinator to ensure that catering orders are fulfilled on time
  • Achieve Health Inspection Ratings of 98% or higher
  • Maintain adequate stock with clearly defined and organized locations
  • Ensure that the kitchen has systems in place to ensure cleanliness
  • Allocate at least two hours per week for planning, meeting, coaching, and accountability
  • Constantly coach the team to the CFA standards regarding recipes, hold times, temperature, and LEAN
