Job Description
At Penn Oaks Golf Club we offer a wide variety of BOH opportunities including both banquets as well as our members only restaurant. We are currently in search of both Prep Cooks as well as full service Line Cooks. We offer a competitive benefits package to any and all employees who average over 30 hours a week after 90 days of employment.
Prep Cook/Line Cook Job Duties:
- Ability to work several stations on the line including Fry, Grill, & Sautee
- Required to prep, restock, execute, and clean assigned station nightly
- Ability to execute chefs menu items within required time parameters while ensuring food quality standards are met
- Preparation of bulk items for banquet events such as weddings, graduation parties, baby/bridal showers, etc.
- Rotation of product using FIFO method
- Ability to uphold safety, sanitation, & general kitchen cleanliness standards
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years full service cooking experience (5+ preferred)
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule including Nights, Weekends, & Holidays
- Must be able to work on feet for extended periods of time
