The Café Yumm! Business Office has an opening for a hourly full-time Facilities Technician in Portland, OR. This position requires travel in a company-owned vehicle to Café Yumm! restaurants in the greater Portland/Vancouver area. Some day trips to Bend and Eugene will be required. Overnights are seldom, if at all.

The Facilities Technician plays a key role in Beau Delicious! Int., LLC by ensuring that maintenance and repairs are performed routinely and timely to ensure the most efficiently operating and aesthetically pleasing restaurant environment for our guests and Team Members. All Team Members must be familiar with and follow to the best of their ability the Purpose, Mission Statement, and Core Values.

Essential Functions:

• Maintain a usual work schedule of 7:00am - 3:30pm Monday thru Friday; occasional need to work longer hours on travel days; occasional need to be called in for emergency repairs.
• Respond to submitted work orders in a timely manner.
• Perform a variety of maintenance duties, such as minor plumbing, carpentry, wall repairs, painting, HVAC/refrigeration, kitchen equipment, and other repairs assigned in accordance with industry standards and company values.
• Perform periodic preventative maintenance, routine inspections, and general walk-throughs of the facilities to identify and schedule general repairs.
• Perform all other tasks as assigned.

Your Education and Experience:

• Possess a valid State-issued driver’s license with a satisfactory motor vehicle record pursuant to company policies.
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent related experience is required.
• One (1) year of experience as a Maintenance Technician or in building and mechanical maintenance and repair, or equivalent related experience, is required.
• One (1) year of experience in carpentry, plumbing, electrical, refrigeration, and/or HVAC is preferred.
• Professional certifications in a related field are a plus.
