Do you love helping to make dreams come true and create happy memories? We are looking for hard-working Banquet Set-Up Attendants. Under the direct supervision of the Banquet Manager, this position is responsible for providing proper setup/teardown and cleaning of the banquet room.
Responsibilities:
- Understands BEO and how to complete a set-up.
- Keep the function rooms, conference areas and storage areas clean and neat at all time.
- Protects the properties assets from damage.
- Keeps banquet furniture, equipment cleans and ready for use.
- Set-up and breakdown of rooms
- Return all equipment not in use to its proper storage area in a clean condition before the end of each shift.
- Assists Banquet staff when necessary which may include food running, bussing and buffet break down.
- Helps perform inventories of Banquet equipment and supplies.
- Eliminate safety hazards.
- Follow Engineering’s Work Order Program in reporting broken or damaged equipment.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, days, weekends and holidays.
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Essential duties require long periods of standing and walking as well as frequent reaching and kneeling, pushing, pulling, carrying, lifting and moving objects 50 lbs. or more.
- Duties are performed in both indoor and outdoor settings, with events often taking place in the elements in all four seasons. Events often involve loud music.
