Director of Marketing


 As the Marketing Director at Chick-fil-A Santa Barbara, you will lead our marketing efforts to boost brand awareness, drive engagement, and strategically grow all brand sales through events. You will develop strategic plans, oversee campaigns, and cultivate community partnerships to elevate our local presence. Serving on the Marketing team, you'll embody Chick-fil-A's values, delivering second-mile service to create raving fans and ensure our restaurant is the most caring company in Santa Barbara. 

Role Wins: 

  • Develop and execute strategic marketing plans aligned with Chick-fil-A Santa Barbara’s brand identity and restaurant goals and objectives
  • Oversee the goals and growth of the catering department, to boost sales through strategic marketing efforts and innovative programs
  • Create quarterly and yearly plans for community and in-restaurant events
  • Establish and maintain a yearly marketing budget to ensure effective allocation of resources and maximize ROI on marketing initiatives
  • Successfully develop and implement a comprehensive yearly social media plan, while actively curating engaging content for our social channels to enhance brand visibility and engagement
  • Cultivate and maintain partnerships with schools and local community organizations to collaborate on fundraisers, advertising initiatives, and sales opportunities, to expand Chick-fil-A's community presence and impact
  • Grow and maintain a 30-40% usage rate of Chick-fil-A One App, ensuring all team members are equipped and trained to proactively engage guests about its benefits, making the app a prominent and integral part of both team member and guest interactions.
  • Provide strategic direction and vision for marketing initiatives, guiding the team towards achieving business objectives
  • Recruit, train, and lead skilled team members proficient in Catering, Events, and Marketing Initiatives, to enhance Chick-fil-A's presence and impact within the city.

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field
  • 2-3+ years of experience in marketing, preferably in the food service or hospitality industry
  • Strong understanding of marketing principles, including branding, digital marketing, advertising, sales and Marketing promotions
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing campaigns 
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms, including social media management and analytics

This is an onsite position. The position will work both in our office and some in restaurant operations.
