Cook- we’re willing to train, come join our team!
Schedule: Full-time, 4 days a week, 12:00 pm - 8:30 pm
Position Summary:
Prepare food in accordance with the medical needs of patients and all current federal, state, and local regulations and as may be directed by the Head Cook and/or Director of Food Services.
Qualifications:
- 1-year of food preparation and cooking experience, preferably in a hospital, nursing care, or other related medical facility is preferred
- Ability to meet all health and background check requirements
Responsibilities:
- Reviews menus to ensure ingredients are available/ready
- Prepares meals in accordance with patient needs and preferences
- Maintains and files menus in accordance with company policies and procedures
- Follows all safety, food storage, and cleaning standards for the position
- Listens to and serves patients/residents as needed to ensure a positive meal experience
- Participates in setting up and adjusting food service production line to assure that meals are complete, accurate, and served on time
- Maintains a clean and safe working environment in accordance with established standards and regulations
