At Chick-fil-A Miami Shores, the Back of House (BOH) Manager role is more than just a job; it's an opportunity! In addition to working directly for an independent Owner/Operator, Managers gain leadership experience that goes far beyond serving a great product in a friendly environment. Managers are responsible for leading their teams to provide exceptional dining experiences for everyone they serve each day and for ensuring all guests receive signature Chick-fil-A service and food. His or her area of responsibility will primarily focus on the kitchen areas including food preparation, breading, fryers, dishwashing, walk-in freezer, walk-in cooler, break room and back office.


Position Type:

  • Full-time (30+ hours per week)

Compensation:

  • $20 an hour
  • Earn a $0.25 raise per quarter for up to a year

Front of House Manager Responsibilities:

  • Assist in hiring new team members
  • Set team goals, work towards accomplishing them and celebrate the wins
  • Develop and grow the team's capabilities through intentional coaching
  • Hold the team accountable to all standards and lead by example
  • Provide feedback and encouragement often
  • Lead meetings with Shift Leaders and Team Leaders
  • Represent the BOH at Director level meetings
  • Schedule shifts for assigned team
  • Confirm checklists are being completed to standard
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Ensure disciplinary action is given fairly and consistently
  • Assess current systems and implement ideas for improvement
  • Assist with inventory management and catering operations
  • Submit and receive truck, bread and produce orders
  • Other duties as assigned

Also, be able to lead and support your team with their responsibilities referenced below:

  • Prepare, cook, assemble safe food fast and accurately
  • Adhere to Chick-fil-A food safety standards
  • Be knowledgeable of all kitchen stations including fries, breading, food preparation, and dishwashing
  • Keep the kitchen clean and orderly at all times
  • Stock kitchen inventory as needed
  • Work safely around kitchen equipment
  • Report maintenance issues to leadership
  • Complete all opening or closing tasks as assigned
  • Adhere to Chick-fil-A rules and dress code at all times
  • Other duties as assigned
