The Assistant Manager manages expectations to consistently provide remarkable experiences for each guest, all day, every day. This position focuses on the daily operation of the restaurant through effective leadership/management of staff positioning, hospitality, and cleanliness. This position works closely with the Directors to ensure operational goals are met and that our team members are equipped and led to be successful.

Assistant Manager Responsibilities:
- Participating operationally in day-to-day activities in high-volume, fast-paced Restaurant
- Offer immediate and respectful response to Guest's needs
- Assist in training of new hires, set the tone for a shift, and act as a role model for our team
- Be a friendly, encouraging team player
- Open and/or close, lead shifts, key holder
- Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken
- Position Team Members and Leaders to meet operational and training expectations
- Delegate/assist with ensuring the designated shift and future shifts are set up for success
- Account for daily finances by settling drawers and counting change fund during designated shift
- Coach every Team Leader and Team Member during designated shift
- Communicate with Directors, other Assistant Managers and Team Leaders about shift operations, current and future policies, and best business practices
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Must be 18+ years or older
- Available to open or close 3 days a week
- Available to work 2 of the 4 Saturdays in a month
- Manage and own all aspects of designated shift
- Responsible for accurate availability and sufficient coverage
- Take the lead of guest recovery and genuine hospitality

- Strong people skills with a desire to serve Team Members
- Strong commitment to superior customer service
- Ability to manage Team Member behavioral and performance issues
- Ability to work in a team environment with shared ownership and responsibility
- Prior experience as shift lead, crew lead, supervisor, team lead, restaurant manager, restaurant assistant manager is preferred.
