RESPONSIBILITIES
Primary duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following.
- Maintains Pinspotters/Pinsetters and related bowling equipment to AMF/Flamingo Bowl specifications as directed.
- Abides by and maintains safety procedures and operating procedures as required by Flamingo Bowl and OSHA.
- Ensures that shop and machine area are clean and organized at all times.
- Follows the preventive maintenance program for all center equipment (daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annually).
- Quickly and safely corrects pin jams, ball return calls, and other malfunctions while bowling is in progress.
- Assists in performing general and emergency maintenance repairs as directed by the supervisor.
- Ability to work varying shifts, weekends, and holidays, as well as extended workdays to support business needs.
- Other duties may be assigned.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- QUALIFICATIONS: Mechanics must be able to read, analyze, and interpret common technical manuals and schematics. Responds to common inquiries or complaints from employees, customers, and/or regulatory agencies. Effectively communicates pertinent information to center management. Applies principles of logical thinking to a wide range of practical problems. Deals with nonverbal schematics (formulas, schematics, graphs, etc.) and a variety of abstract and concrete variables.
- EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: Relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience is acceptable.
- PHYSICAL DEMANDS: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and must occasionally lift and/or move up to 150 pounds with help and/or assistance.
- WORK ENVIRONMENT: While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in a bowling center environment where high levels of noise, dust, and activity can be expected. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
