ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Primary duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Takes food and beverage orders from guests; serves food and beverages, accepts payment.
- Accurately rings sales at Food and Beverage counter and follows cash control procedures.
- Serves food and beverages, including alcohol, in measured quantities and according to 25th Lane standards.
- Promotes responsible alcohol sales and service and ensures compliance with local alcohol service regulations.
- Maintains the sanitation and organization of service areas according to local regulations and 25th Lane standards.
- Adheres to all state, local, and 25th Lane regulations and laws concerning the service of food and beverage products.
- Must become TABC certified within 14 days of employment and complete an approved food safety program within 30 days of employment
- Ability to work varying shifts, weekends and holidays, as well as, extended workdays to support business needs.
- Other duties may be assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
QUALIFICATIONS
Servers possess a highly developed sense of customer service and interpersonal skills including respect for all individuals and solid communication skills. Servers must be strong team players. Knowledge of and adherence to workplace safety procedures and basic PC user skills highly preferred. Must meet the minimum age required by company operating standards and state law to sell and serve alcohol.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or equivalent and three years of full service restaurant and/or hospitality experience preferred but not required. Relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is also acceptable. Must have a proven record of success in school and/or previous job experiences.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and must occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds with help and/or assistance.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in a bowling center environment where high levels of noise, dust and activity can be expected. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
