General Manager — Tropical Smoothie Cafe

$60,000 annual salary + up to $5,000 in annual performance bonuses

We’re seeking a hands-on General Manager who enjoys developing people, creating a welcoming guest experience, and keeping a busy cafe running smoothly. If you lead by example, take pride in your work, and bring positive energy to your team, we’d love to meet you.

You’ll join a cafe with an assistant manager, shift leads, and a great crew already in place who follow brand standards each shift.
You’ll also work directly with the management team overseeing our cafe, with support for hiring, maintaining brand standards, solving problems, and helping the business grow. You’ll have room to lead and people to turn to when you need them.
What we offer
- $60,000 annual base salary.
- Up to $5,000 in performance bonuses per year, paid quarterly based on performance.

What you’ll do
- Lead daily operations and jump in alongside your team during busy shifts.
- Coach and develop the assistant manager, shift leads, and crew.
- Recruit, hire, train, and schedule team members with management support.
- Deliver friendly hospitality, consistent food and smoothie quality, and efficient service.
- Maintain brand standards, cleanliness, food safety, and equipment readiness.
- Manage inventory, ordering, labor, and food costs to meet cafe goals.
- Use sales results, budgets, and financial reports to guide decisions.
- Help grow sales through catering, local relationships, and cafe promotions.
What you’ll bring
- At least three years of restaurant or fast-casual management experience.
- A track record of hiring, training, and developing strong teams.
- Experience managing labor, inventory, food costs, and budgets.
- Clear communication, sound judgment, and a calm approach during busy shifts.
- A hands-on leadership style and commitment to excellent guest service.
- ServSafe certification required
Schedule
Shifts typically run 6:30 a.m.–4 p.m. But scheduling is based on shift lead and crew availability, so flexibility is needed to ensure the cafe has coverage and support.
