Responsibilities:
1. Operational Management:
- Supervise kitchen staff during the night shift, ensuring efficient operations.
- Oversee food preparation and cooking to guarantee high-quality standards.
- Manage inventory and ensure proper storage and handling of ingredients.
- Conduct regular equipment checks to ensure all kitchen appliances are in good working condition.
2. Team Leadership:
- Train, manage, and motivate kitchen staff, fostering a positive work environment.
- Schedule staff shifts and manage attendance, ensuring adequate coverage.
- Address and resolve any conflicts or issues that arise during the shift.
3. Quality Control:
- Maintain Chick-fil-A’s food safety and hygiene standards in the kitchen.
- Implement and monitor standard operating procedures for food preparation.
- Conduct routine checks to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
4. Customer Service:
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of orders to meet customer satisfaction.
- Handle customer feedback and complaints effectively to ensure resolution.
- Collaborate with the front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service.
5. Reporting and Documentation:
- Maintain daily logs of operations, including inventory use and any incidents.
- Prepare reports for upper management on kitchen operations and staff performance.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a supervisory or managerial position within a kitchen is preferred especially if was at another chick fil a previously.
- Servsafe certified
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
-Must be Bilingual.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and move items up to 20lbs.
- Capability to work in a heated environment and handle kitchen equipment safely.
