Closing FOH Manager – Full-Time
The Closing FOH Manager will work directly with the FOH Director and other members of the leadership team to develop and implement strategies that focus on delivering food quickly while adhering to Chick-fil-A standards, as well as help grow the brand in the Livonia and Metro-Detroit area.
The Closing FOH Manager is responsible for overseeing training, cash management, food safety, resolving conflicts, and checking equipment. Ultimately, you will ensure the drive-thru, front counter, and communication with back-of-house run smoothly and effectively. If you’re a leader committed to quality service and have experience in our industry, we’d like to meet you. Must be available to work until all closing duties are completed and all staff is out of the store (could be until midnight or later).
Responsibilities
- Have or be prepared to obtain a current ServSafe certificate
- Ensure guest experience and products are consistent with our brand, culture, and standard of excellence.
- Participate in market meetings with other Chick-fil-A restaurants
- Provide direction and feedback to workers during shifts
- Schedule employee shifts and assign duties
- Labor cost management
- Manage time-off requests and handle last-minute absences
- Train and coach new employees
- Inspect equipment and communicate the need for repairs or replacements to management
- Check cash drawers in and out
- Ensure health and safety standards are followed; work with leadership team to cultivate a food safety culture.
- Address customer and employee complaints
- Resolve conflicts between workers
- Participate in evaluations in collaboration with leadership and HR
- Assemble, clean, maintain, and operate soft serve machine and beverage area
- Daily S.A.F.E. assessment; support food safety culture
- Assist with any other restaurant operations as needed

Requirements
- Must be able to work weekends

- Previous customer service and leadership experience preferred.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and work on your feet for long periods
- Must be able to work and complete your shift and all closing duties (Must be available to work until all closing duties are completed, this can be until midnight or later)
