The District Manager at D2 Ventures' Tropical Smoothie Cafe provides strategic leadership, guidance, and support to Café Managers within
their assigned region to achieve short and long-term company objectives. The District Manger reports directly to the Director of D2 Franchise Business Unit. This pivotal role is integral to the success of our restaurants, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as Tropical Smoothie Café guidelines. The District Manager plays a key role in driving operational excellence, guest satisfaction, and overall profitability across the district.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Collaborates with Café Managers and staff to ensure exceptional restaurant operations, providing leadership and support to maintain high standards of customer service.
- Provides guidance to Café Managers in developing business plans to drive restaurant profitability.
- Monitors and evaluates financial performance, ensuring adherence to sales growth, food pricing, and labor cost guidelines.
- Facilitates ongoing training for managers and staff, covering operational procedures and personal development.
- Coaches store managers on progressive discipline, termination procedures, and employee development opportunities through one-on-one and group training sessions.
- Ensures compliance with cleanliness, sanitation, safety, and staffing standards.
- Proactively addresses performance issues and actively recruits restaurant staff and management as needed.
- Performs any additional duties as assigned by the Director of Operations.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum of 3 years of managerial experience in the restaurant or fast-casual field required.
- Experience recruiting, hiring, training, and developing employees.
- Experience in growing sales and providing excellent customer service.
- Demonstrated ability to drive operational excellence in both front of the house and back of the house.
- Must have a proven track record of managing cost of goods and labor.
- Strong skills in understanding P&L reports and budgets.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Servsafe® Certification preferred.
- Experience in the quick-service restaurant industry required.
- District Manager Training Certification: Must have or complete within 3 months of hire date.
