Cleaner/Maintenance Staff Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Cleaner/Facility Maintenance individual to add to our staff. We are hoping to find a reliable and skilled person who understands the importance that the role a cleaner/janitor plays in an organization and also adheres to all safety standards set by the company. Responsibilities of a Cleaner/Maintenance Individual:
- Cleaning building exterior (sweeping, scrubbing)
- Cleaning gas dispensers & pumps (polishing)
- Cleaning building interior (sweeping, scrubbing)
- Gathering and emptying both indoor and outdoor trash
- Clean, service and resupply restrooms
- Clean windows, mirrors and other glass surfaces
- Engaging in building security and safety activities (checking and locking doors, checking for safety requirements, etc.)
- Informing managers about required repair and maintenance activities
- Maintaining tools and equipment needed for Cleaner/Facility Maintenance duties
Cleaner/Maintenance Staff Job Requirements:
- Ideally have previous working experience as Cleaner and/or Facility Maintenance individual
- Must follow and understand sanitation procedures
- Must be able to respond and act quickly
- Ideally have communication and multitasking skills
- Must have basic knowledge of cleaning equipment, chemicals, and supplies (will be trained)
