Position Overview:
We are seeking a Media and Sales Expert to lead our efforts in promoting and selling new boats and repowers. You will be responsible for creating and executing innovative marketing campaigns, with a strong focus on digital, social media, and SEO strategies. In addition, you will manage sales activities, working directly with customers to achieve business growth. Prior experience in related fields such as marine, automotive, or recreational vehicle industries is required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Promote and sell new boats, repowers, and marine services to customers.
- Develop and execute social media and digital marketing strategies to increase brand awareness, customer engagement, and lead generation.
- Manage the company’s social media accounts (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, YouTube) by creating and scheduling engaging posts, responding to customer inquiries, and growing followers.
- Implement SEO strategies to improve website rankings, drive organic traffic, and increase visibility across search engines.
- Create compelling content (photos, videos, written copy) for marketing campaigns, product listings, social media platforms, and promotional materials.
- Manage and update the company's website, ensuring it is optimized for user experience, search engine performance, and conversions.
- Oversee and maintain website inventory, ensuring that boat listings and repower options are up-to-date, accurate, and visually appealing.
- Utilize marketing tools and applications (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Affinity Suite, Canva, etc.) to create professional-quality visuals, videos, and graphics.
- Manage and optimize Google Ads, Google AdWords, SEO, and Google My Business accounts to ensure visibility and lead generation.
- Monitor and analyze social media, SEO, and digital marketing performance data to optimize campaigns.
- Collaborate with the sales team to create promotional events, seasonal offers, and sales strategies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Digital Media/Communications, Graphic Design, or a related field (or an Associate Degree with significant relevant experience).
- Proven experience in media and sales, preferably in the marine, automotive, or recreational vehicle industries.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing channels (social media, SEO, email marketing, Google Ads, Google AdWords, and Google My Business).
- Demonstrated experience in managing social media accounts and executing effective campaigns across platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube.
- Experience in SEO and implementing strategies to improve organic search rankings and drive website traffic.
- Experience in managing website inventory, ensuring accurate and timely updates of product listings.
- Proficient in photo and video editing tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Affinity Suite (Affinity Photo, Affinity Designer), or Canva).
- Knowledge of website management and optimization (e.g., WordPress, Shopify, etc.).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
