Position Summary
The Assistant Center Manager (ACM) plays a crucial role in ensuring every guest receives an exceptional experience while contributing to the center's financial success. This role is central to leadership in guest service excellence, effective team development, operational efficiency, and the successful promotion and sale of retail products. Working closely with the Center Manager and Franchise Owner, the ACM strives to achieve business goals in a growth-oriented and positive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Guest Experience Management: Deliver outstanding service to ensure guest satisfaction, loyalty, and repeat business. Train and guide associates in providing exemplary service and sales, fostering a welcoming environment.
- Effective Scheduling: Efficiently schedule associates to ensure optimal staffing levels at all times. Proactively cover for call-outs to maintain operational efficiency and guest service standards.
- Sales and Performance Leadership: Meet or exceed monthly sales targets. Encourage and coach the team in customer service and sales, utilizing business reports to guide improvements and execute strategic action plans.
- Maintain KPIs for Associates: Track and maintain key performance indicators for all associates, providing a clear basis for performance evaluations and growth opportunities.
- Talent Development and Management: Engage in active recruitment, hiring, and training to maintain a team that reflects brand standards. Foster a culture of teamwork, open communication, and continuous improvement.
- Operational Excellence: Ensure the center operates according to company standards, manages inventory effectively, and maintains a clean, organized, and visually appealing space.
- Visual and Marketing Execution: Direct the implementation of marketing and visual merchandising according to brand guidelines, ensuring accurate and attractive promotion presentations.
Qualifications:
- Experience in customer service, sales, or retail management is preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to train, motivate, and develop team members.
- Organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 lbs frequently.
- Willingness to work at other locations as needed.
Physical Demands and Environmental Factors:
- Strength Demands: Medium; tasks may involve lifting to 50 lbs. occasionally.
- Physical Demands: Continuous standing, walking; frequent lifting, reaching; occasional sitting, carrying.
- Environmental Factors: Fast-paced, indoor setting; occasional outdoor tasks and variable hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Tools, Equipment, and Work Aids: Usage includes cash registers, cleaning tools, office and computer equipment. Maintenance tasks may be required.
