The Job
You are responsible for fire and life safety in the building. You will:
- Monitor the fire alarm system
- Respond to alarms and emergencies, and coordinate with FDNY on scene
- Oversee fire safety and evacuation procedures, and run fire drills
- Keep test and inspection logs up to date and the building compliant with FDNY regulations
- Keep tenants, visitors and building staff safe and informed

- A current FDNY F-89 or T-89 Certificate of Fitness, or one being renewed (required)
- Calm, clear judgment in an emergency
