Position Overview
As a Director at Chick-fil-A Colonial Plaza, you will serve as a key member of our leadership team, working closely with both the Director Team and Executive Director Team to lead your area of the business, execute strategic goals, and develop team members into future leaders. Together, we will create a culture of excellence that aligns with Chick-fil-A Colonial Plaza’s vision, mission, and values.
Responsibilities Include
- Operational Excellence: Oversee key operational areas to maintain high standards in efficiency, accuracy, cleanliness, and service.
- Team Leadership: Train, coach, and mentor leaders and team members to build a strong and capable team.
- Guest Experience: Champion a guest-first culture, ensuring exceptional service and hospitality in all areas of the business through interactions, quality, timeliness, urgency, and everything in between.
- Culture Building: Lead through our vision, mission, and values, creating an environment where excellence thrives.
- Strategic Initiatives: Collaborate with the leadership team to implement strategies that improve food safety, quality, guest experience, productivity, sales, and team member engagement.
- Accountability: Establish clear expectations for your team, hold them accountable to performance standards, and ensure strict compliance with our policies, safety guidelines, and brand standards.
What We’re Looking For
- A proven leader with 2+ years of management or leadership experience in the food service or hospitality industry (Chick-fil-A experience is highly recommended but not required).
- A self-motivated individual who thrives on developing others and creating a positive, growth-oriented work environment.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, delegate effectively, and manage store resources to ensure profitability while maintaining Chick-fil-A’s standards of excellence.
- Someone who is attentive, timely, and demonstrates strong discipline in all aspects of their work.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with team members and guests.
- Ability to handle complex situations, make effective decisions, and manage operational challenges in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven ability to drive measurable results in areas such as sales, team performance, and guest satisfaction.
- Ability to lead and embrace change, implement new ideas, and continuously improve operational efficiency to support business growth.

- Availability to work a flexible schedule, including Fridays and Saturdays.
- Physical ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
