Wildflower Golf Course is an 18-hole, Par 72 Prairie Links-style course—uniquely designed for Minnesota and enjoyed by golfers of all skill levels. As a Golf Course Management Intern, you’ll gain hands-on experience in Pro Shop Management and Golf Operations, while also supporting events and tournaments that make Wildflower a premier golfing destination.
This internship is geared toward college students pursuing Golf Enterprise Management or Sports Management. You’ll learn to use our tee sheet and point-of-sale system (Lightspeed), supervise staff as a manager on duty, and collaborate with all departments to ensure smooth course operations.
What You’ll Do
Your responsibilities will include, but aren’t limited to:
- Checking in golfers and providing face-to-face customer service
- Answering phones and managing reservations
- Handling money and running reports
- Organizing and cleaning golf carts and pro shop areas
- Picking the driving range and removing trash
- Assisting with merchandising the pro shop (sales goals, weekly inventory, promotions)
- Planning and facilitating golf tournaments and corporate events
- Supporting outside services and overall course flow
Extra Opportunities
- Assist with four major Wildflower-hosted tournaments and various corporate events
- Help with junior golf programming and golf camps
- Teach private golf lessons (optional)
- Network with local business professionals
