Position Summary

Johnny’s BBQ is looking for a dedicated, organized cashier

who enjoys working as part of a team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As

a cashier, you will provide exceptional service with each customer interaction. You will be expected to be a team player,

interacting with co-workers in a friendly and professional manner.

Job Responsibilities:

Greet customers in a friendly, courteous manner as

they enter and depart the restaurant.

Take customer orders at the counter with the ability

to provide menu suggestions.

Manage the register, to include receiving

payments, presenting change, and receiving signatures from customers.

Pack food items and fill beverage cups for carry

out orders.

Provide customer service and complaint

resolution for impatient or irritated customers.

Ensure a balance of the register at the end of

the shift or working period.

Maintaining a safe and clean work environment in

compliance with all food safety regulations and procedures, to include wiping

down counters, sweeping, mopping, and cleaning restrooms.

Assisting other team members as needed.

Job Requirements:

Strong problem-solving, time management, and

communication skills.

Ability to stand or walk for 8-hour shifts and

lift at least 20 pounds.

Willingness to comply with all food safety

procedures.

Previous experience as a cashier is preferred,

but not required.

Flexible to work a variety of shifts.

Serve Safe certification a plus!
