Employee-owned Clean Paws Grooming and Self Service Pet Wash is looking for highly-motivated individuals to join our team with an opportunity to grow with us. Experience with animals is preferred, but training opportunities and grooming education is available for the right candidate. Pay includes competitive hourly wage starting at $16.00/hour (and up) ***PLUS TIPS*** with room to advance based on experience and educational opportunities. Full benefits and PTO available.

Duties include:

• receiving clients and their pets into the shop and guiding them through the self service process; providing assistance as needed
• setting up bathing and grooming stations
• scheduling clients for services
• helping keep the shop clean and running smoothly
• brushing, bathing, and drying pets
• trimming nails, expressing anal glands, plucking ears, etc.
• assisting groomers as needed

Set Schedule:

• Occasionally, extra coverage may be needed on other days so we ask for flexibility and understanding, however, generally there is a set schedule each week: M-W, SA 8-4:30, and SU 10-3. No nights!

Requirements: A strong desire and ability to work with pets of all shapes, sizes, breeds, and dispositions, in a professional capacity. Strong customer service and communication skills. As well as: high school diploma or equivalent; ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without a reasonable accommodation; ability to work the above described schedule.
