We are a growing restaurant group with multiple locations in the Boston area, and are looking for a reliable Cafe Supervisor join our dynamic team! We are looking for a qualified and responsible Cafe Supervisor that loves to provide exceptional guest service and to manage all transactions with our guests efficiently and accurately. This Cafe Supervisor must have a a few years of guest service experience and a passion for food and building a community in the locations in which they work in. This position is ideal for someone who is: dependable, people-oriented, and adaptable. Restaurant experience preferred.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Greet and interact with guests in a gracious and kind way
• Proactive with communication, finding answers and working with entire team on having an open dialogue
• Respectfully and professionally answer any questions about the menu and food preparation
• Become knowledgeable of the entire menu, how items are prepared and the ingredients in them
• Comfortable with technology and experience operating a POS system
• Always looking to guide guests and solve any issues a guest hs to put a smile on their face
• Constant standing/walking
• Ability to maintain a clean and organized space
• Experience with cash handling from starting and closing out a cash drawer

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum of 4 years guest service experience (ideally in a restaurant setting)
• Works a schedule that is on the needs of the business. 
• Ability to work in a team setting, ability to be open minded and flexible based on the needs of the business
• Takes initiative and is proactive in solving operational & personnel problems 
• Ability to recognize problems and problem solve
• Manager Serv-Safe Certified & keeping your Certification Current.
• May be required to lift, carry, push or pull heavy objects up to fifty pounds; kneel, bend or stoop, ascend or descend stairs; reach and grasp object
• Works with a high level of integrity, leads by example, always prioritizes making exceptional products while pushing innovation to improve recipes and processes.
