As a Host or Hostess at IHOP, you will be responsible for greeting guests with a smile and seating them promptly, ensuring that their dining experience starts off on the right foot. Your friendly and courteous demeanor will set the tone for our guests' visit, making them feel welcome and valued.

Responsibilities:

• Greet, seat, and escort guests
• Open doors for arriving and departing guests
• Accommodate any special needs of guests
• Process To-Go and Delivery Orders
• Manage Wait List during busy periods
• Provide menu recommendations and additional information
• Upsell additional products when appropriate
• Take orders using software, order slips, or memorization
• Communicate order details to the kitchen staff
• Deliver food and beverages in a timely fashion to outside guests
• Deliver checks and collect bill payments
• Clean and maintain the appearance of the restaurant
• Provide exceptional customer experience

Requirements:

• Prior experience as a host is a plus
• Showcase teamwork and communication skills
• Ability to handle money transactions responsibly
• Ability to multitask and act quickly
• Flexibility to work in shifts
• Team player mindset
