This position will provide broad exposure to multiple areas of accounting and the business. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in accounting principles, exceptional analytical and communication skills, and with a strong attention to detail. This is a hybrid position, located in our corporate office in Tukwila, WA.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Reconcile bank account and payment processor accounts
- Record corporate credit card activity and reconcile supporting documentation
- Record all fixed-asset related entries, including additions, disposals, and depreciation
- Prepare and file personal property tax returns
- Review payroll data on a bi-weekly basis
- Prepare month end journal entries and reconciliations
- Assist with annual audit
- Participate in special projects including ad hoc financial analysis, process improvements, and system implementations
- Support growth initiatives that impact various aspects of our accounting and reporting processes
WHAT EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE YOU WILL NEED:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Three to five years previous and relevant accounting and/or audit experience
- Experience with financial accounting preferred; knowledge of US GAAP is required
- Prior experience extracting, summarizing, and interpreting large volumes of financial data from database and ERP systems, Sage Intacct experience helpful
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP’s/Pivot tables/SumIFs.)
- Effective communication and presentation skills, with a strong collaborative mindset, and capable of working with diverse personalities
- Flexible work style and able to multi-task; working within a rapidly evolving growth environment with
- Strong organizational and time management skills with ability to prioritize workload and function as a primary owner of individual projects, analyses, and processes
- Excellent analytical skills to effectively evaluate data, identify variances, and resolve discrepancies
- Ability to consistently meet deadlines while producing high quality work with a strong attention to detail
BASE SALARY:
$85,000 - $95,000/yr. This range reflects the good faith hiring base salary range for this position. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to business considerations, local market conditions, internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications such as skills, experience, and education/training.
