Job Description:

As the Front of House (FOH) Director at our Chick-fil-A Quick Service Restaurant, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring fast and accurate service, exceptional customer satisfaction, cleanliness, and efficiency within our establishment. You will be responsible for overseeing the front-of-house operations to guarantee a seamless and enjoyable dining experience for our valued guests.

Responsibilities:

  1. Fast and Accurate Service: Supervise and lead the front-of-house team to ensure timely and precise order taking, preparation, and delivery of food items.
  2. Customer Satisfaction: Prioritize customer satisfaction by maintaining a positive and welcoming atmosphere, addressing customer concerns promptly and professionally, and ensuring that all guests leave with a memorable dining experience.
  3. Cleanliness: Uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation in all front-of-house areas, including dining areas, restrooms, and service stations, in accordance with company policies and health regulations.
  4. Efficient Operations: Implement strategies to optimize efficiency and minimize wait times, such as effective staffing schedules, streamlined workflows, and proper utilization of technology.
  5. Training and Development: Train, coach, and mentor front-of-house team members to uphold Chick-fil-A's service standards, cultivate a culture of excellence, and support their professional growth and development.
  6. Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels of front-of-house supplies and coordinate with relevant departments to ensure adequate stock levels while minimizing waste.
  7. Safety and Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and compliance with health and safety regulations to create a secure environment for both team members and guests.
  8. Team Collaboration: Foster a collaborative and cohesive team environment by promoting open communication, resolving conflicts effectively, and encouraging teamwork among front-of-house staff.
  9. Performance Monitoring: Regularly evaluate front-of-house performance metrics, such as speed of service, order accuracy, and customer satisfaction scores, and implement corrective actions as needed to achieve targets.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a supervisory or managerial role within the food service industry, preferably in a quick-service restaurant environment.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
